This is a large French antique trim. It was made to be hung above fireplaces or stoves. Therefore, the embroidery is both very delicate and wonderfully dynamic. It is meticulously embroidered on unbleached linen. Due to age, there are small holes and some areas where the color has slightly changed upon close inspection. This is an item that allows you to feel its history. The floral embroidery is in very beautiful condition, but there are thread breaks in the stitching along the fabric edges. The linen border is adorned with bobbin lace. This is a very old item. It is suitable for those who love antiques. The size is large, so the entire piece could not be captured in the photos. It is draped over a chair so you can see the overall form.
